“This is Why I Sign with Lennox Mae”
MeetDenise Vasi and her daughter Lennox Mae. For the past 3 years, I have the honor to sign and shine with Vasi and grow with Lennox Mae, incredibly smart, intuitive and curious (and oh-so-funny) girl. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When Lennox Mae was six months old, her mom @DeniseVasi, Super Mama, actress, and an Influencer, MAED founder called me curious about teaching baby sign language. Vasi already knew ASL as she dated in the past a deaf boyfriend. But this time, she wanted to sign with her baby girl

Denise, Lennox Mae (and sometimes Daddy as well) started weekly private signing classes with me. We sat on the floor, sang, signed, learned new activites which matched Lennox Mae’s developmental age. Lennox Mae was quickly signing and communicating words that other babies did not even attempt to say at her age.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Denise didn’t stop signing classes when Lennox Mae became a toddler or after she started forming clear sentences. On the contrary! We kept signing and using ASL as a tool to create stimuli in many areas in Lennox Mae’s life. From oppotistes, to manners and cololrs. Before Lennox Mae turned 1.5, she was already signed the entire ABC and her name. We started reading and writing skills. Today Lennox Mae is 3.5 years old, and we still sign. We learn more vocabularies, forming sequences, reading, and writing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When Lennox Mae started school, Vasi called me proud: “Lennox Mae was one of the only children who recognized her name!”

Beyond words can describe, I love to sign with Vasi and Lennox Mae. I feel honored every week with this incredible family who embraces healthy communication and open conversation with children.
